SXC-9 dry hydrogen catalyze resin

SXC-9  dry hydrogen catalyse resin is H form,dry state,spherical macroporus strong acid styrene cation exchange resin,this resin is not only can be used for a variety of heterogeneous catalysts of organic reactions,but also can be used for removing cations from non-water system.
This resin has suitable macroporus network structure and high catalytic activity,convenient for reactants into the internal sphere and touch with hydrogen ions inside the sphere.As the catalytic activity depends on the concentration of inside a sphere,the catalytic activity will decrease when the hydrogen ions are replaced by other cations.So metal ions,suspended substance and other impurities need to be removed before reaction mixture touch with the resin.SXC-9 resin has a unique macroporus network structure, wear resistance and oxidation resistance are all better than conventional strong acid resins.

3. Application:
a. As catalyst
Esters hydrolysis-such as preparation of methyl ester hydrolysis,acetic acid and methanol.
Olefin hydration and alcohol dehydration-such as isobutylene hydration produce tert-butyl alcohol.
Olefin etherification and Ether bond cleavage,such as isobutylene and methanol
produce methyl tert-butyl alcohol.
Esterification-such as acrylic acid and methyl produce methyl acrylate.
Decomposition reaction-such as cumene peroxide produce phenol and acetone.
Alkylation-such as benzene and propylene produce cumene.
Olefin oligomerization and isomerization-such as butylene produce 3.4-dimethyl hexane.
Alkene acylation-diisobutylene and acetic anhydride produce acetyl diisobutylene.
Condensation-such as phenol and acetone produce bisphenol A.
Cyclization-such as diethylene glycol produce dioxane.
b. Remove cation from non-aqueous media:
Remove copper ions from isooctane
Remove iron ions from ice ester acid  
Remove amine from carbon tetrachloride
